  Liked: Friendly staff, historic building and medieval feel of the village. Proper breakfast served as well.

  A comfortable and enjoyable stay in a beautiful historic location

  Liked: Friendly and helpful staff, beautiful location, nice pool, good breakfast, comfortable bed and generally a pleasant ambiance.

  Disliked: The sometimes narrow roads up to the hotel, but is only to be expected in a medieval town!

  A lovely Posada in the old Medieval village of Ourem

  Liked: The Pousada is excellent but we did have difficulty negotiating the narrow lanes to reach the hotel. Exiting Ourém was very easy once the Reception staff gave us instructions. I think maybe we took wrong turns when entering the medieval village. The room was very clean and comfortable. The breakfast choice excellent catering for all diets. There are a couple of restaurants in the village and bars. The castle overlooks the vale with exceptional views. A really lovely hotel within an old medieval village.

  Fantastic place. Real gem in the middle of a medieval town

  Liked: This place was nice, clean, with very pleasant personnel.

  Disliked: Small thing: the coffee machine in the breakfast area was serving instant product, pretty bad one.

  We had a great stay in a very dog friendly hotel

  Liked: A lovely hotel styled to complement the historic building and surroundings. The pool area was lovely for a little relax time. The staff were all very helpful.

  Disliked: It was a shame the restaurant was temporarily closed at the time of our visit.

  Liked: The location is something special; historic and very quiet. Rooms are spacious and comfortable, and the hotel hasn't anything superfluous. Ana, the housekeeper made as feel very welcome.
