  Liked: The people were really sweet. We had a late breakfast but they were really sweet to organize it just for us. The place is located in a nice place with a good mountain view and parking for the car. It was worth it.

  Disliked: Since we were there in summers it was very hot. Maybe having a fan inside rooms will help in summers.

  We had a lovely stay here and left very happy. Room was great, breakfast was great, staff were amazing, the location is

  Liked: Gorgeous views, location very close to several bars and cafes and shops, as well as the Termas park that was accessible by foot. Staff was very sweet and helpful, they very generously adjusted check in and check out times for us and provided information about nearby activities. Room was just as described, very cosy and tidy with minimal issues that overall was an incredible value for the price. For us the outside balcony/patio with view if the mountains was the highlight. Breakfast was included and offers a good variety of options, perhaps if you are vegan it could be a little limited but there still are plenty of things to eat! The room had everything that’s a necessity, towels and sheets were nice and freshly crisp, but bring your own shampoo and toothpaste/toothbrush. Guests are free to come and go during the stay freely even at night hours.

  Disliked: If you have mobility issues be careful planning the trip, it’s worth mentioning that the hotel is a little uphill from the “Main Street” of the village, and the bathtub can be a bit slippery, generally this didn’t bother us but I imagine might be important for someone else. Certain things were a little bit off, like the water takes a little while to heat and the shower holder was broken, but all in all it’s nothing serious.

  Liked: Funcionários extremamente simpáticos e prestativos. Meu quarto era simples, mas tudo limpo e confortável. A vista da varanda pras montanhas é de tirar o fôlego. Acordar e olhar pra fora da janela foi revigorante.

  Liked: Gerês is a perfect base to explore the surrounding national park. The guest house is conveniently located, maybe 5-10 minutes walk from the centre of the village. There's a free parking space next to the house. The view from the balcony was amazing! The room itself was spacious, the bed was comfortable, the furniture a bit old but functional. The breakfast was a bit basic but very fair for the price. I was given a lot of helpful information on hikes in the area, including maps and brochures. Would stay there again.

  Disliked: On my first night I couldn't unlock the front door for half an hour, so the only negative thing was that nobody responded when I tried to reach out (was about 11.15pm). Eventually a friendly passer-by helped me out and managed to unlock the door (the lock turned out to be a bit tricky).
