  Liked: The communication from start to finish was excellent, we were even able to check in a couple of hours early (before the cleaning crew arrived) to drop our bags and unload our groceries. The accommodation is large and roomy and the air-conditioning worked effectively. 2 bathrooms was a nice bonus and the outside utility had extra amenities I.e. a clothes rack, dish sponges... The location was very private, exactly what we were hoping for.

  Disliked: The couch in the living room made it unbearable to sit and watch TV for more than 20minutes, and this was really disappointing as we booked this as a 'home from home' accommodation, hoping to watch the world cup games. Others have also mentioned the steep road. This cannot be controlled by the host and I am not reflecting it in my score, but suggest a small car if renting one.

  Excellent! Beautiful home - our favorite stay in Portugal!

  Liked: • Great location – very peaceful & private but only a couple minutes’ drive into town. Plenty of shops and restaurants to choose from. • Modern, clean, and very comfortable. Bright with nice lighting and lots of windows. • Functional kitchen with large fridge/freezer. • Beautiful sun terrace with outdoor seating. • Loved having a washing machine. • Good internet connection.

  Disliked: • AC kept turning off in the night. Annoying!

  Liked: Love the location! Lovely, secluded, beautiful!

  Disliked: The beautiful house needs a new couch! Other reviews have mentioned the same for sleeping on it....it is also uncomfortable to sit on. Would benefit from a sectional to hold you in the beautiful space or more bean bag chairs!
