Fabulous
Liked: Very convenient for train and city

Satisfactory
Liked: A modern hotel with easy proximity to the old historic part of the city. A huge room and the bathroom was fantastic. Staff pleasant. Easy parking. It is a business hotel and perfectly good for a one night stop over.
Disliked: Breakfast was pretty poor. At the price we paid we think that tea and coffee facilities would have been provided, or at least complimentary water.

Lovely hotel to ensure a relaxing and enjoyable stay in Guimaraes
Liked: Lovely modern hotel within a few minutes walk of the beautiful town of Guimaraes. Friendly welcoming staff and a fabulous buffet breakfast. Hotel also has a spa, pool and bar and has great soundproofing so wont hear the nearby trains. Room had a mini-fridge to keep things cool.
Disliked: Nothing to complain about although it would have been nice to have a kettle in the room to be able to make a cup of coffee/tea.
Liked: Perfect clean hotel with friendly staff. The family loved the pool and breakfast buffet!
The hotel itself is good, but the way the saunas are set up feels like a bad joke
Liked: The staff is quite friendly.
Disliked: If you know and appreciate a good sauna, please do not stay at this hotel. The sauna experience here is absolute nonsense - both the men's and women's facilities (which, by the way, are separate). It's a shame. Also, I genuinely do not understand how a hotel of this level doesn't provide a simple kettle in the room.

Please note that for reservations of 2 adults and 2 children (up to 12 years old), the only room type available is the Family Room.
Please note that the restaurant will be closed for dinner on the 31st of December and for lunch on the 1st of January, and the Health Club & Spa on the 25th December.Guests under the age of 18 can only check in with a parent or official guardian.
