Exceptional
Tranquility at it’s best
Liked: This place is just perfect for relaxing in the peace & quiet of a lovely village looking up to Monsaraz above on the hillside. We absolutely loved the whole place. Strolling around the traditional village, nice restaurants & couple of bars, we really enjoyed the pool too. So peaceful everywhere. The room was fabulous - traditional & spacious with screens & shutters at each window. We didn’t want to leave. Breakfast was served in the impressive farmhouse - warm, fresh bread, eggs, yoghurt, fruits, nuts, seeds etc - cheeses, meats & jams - just help yourself. Freshly squeezed juice, coffee, water hot & cold. Wish we could have stayed longer - perfect.

Very comfortable, clean and welcoming. The family were very friendly and cooked a delicious breakfast
Liked: Gorgeous house in a lovely area. We had a choice of rooms - all which were spotlessly clean, had air conditioning and had everything we could need. The swimming pool was fantastic - just what we needed on a very hot day. There was plenty of space to park our campervan and a great restaurant a short walk away.

Liked: Beautiful location, authentic and the swimming pool made the stay very enjoyable as it was extremely hot
Liked: The hotel is located in a close proximity to many restaurants in the town, but still far from any noise. The historical architecture and the effort that the owners put into maintaining the old features of the space were stunning, while, at the same time, the entire facility was extremely comfortable and clean. The breakfast with many local ingredients and freshly baked, warm bread was one of the best experiences of this stay
Disliked: The fact that the room didn't have a proper window (only small window within the balcony door) was a bit strange and could be problematic during longer stays, but at the same time and it added the character to the space
Liked: Swimming pool, decor, bed.
Disliked: TV didn't work properly
Liked: It was a beautiful authentic Portuguese house. Wonderful view of the hills, cozy garden. Very close to the castle, megaliths, observatory and beach. The parking lot is convenient, the welcome is warm, breakfast on the terrace is very good.
Disliked: Wi-fi didn’t reach our room)) but that didn’t matter at all.
