  Lovely hotel - silly nonsense pool rules!

  Liked: Beautiful setting. Beautiful atmosphere. Beautiful room. Yummy food. Excellent selection. Unlimited ice cream, cocktails, mocktails beer, wine and cider. Good overall hotel. Friendly staff.

  Disliked: Pool was absolutely freezing and I don’t just mean cold. The children weren’t allowed to play, no inflatables, no balls, so no fun!! There was zero chance of them warming up in the extremely cold pool. Staff were very nice but they had zero idea why the children weren’t allowed to have fun. One woman who claimed to be the manager came out to speak to guests about it and said that we weren’t allowed to have a ball. We asked why and she couldn’t tell us. We asked what would happen if we continued to play, she said nothing. The lifeguard was useless, spent the entire time on his phone watching videos and when he looked up all he did was tell adults and children off for playing. Entertainment staff even had to shout him for assistance when a child became unstable in the water, my husband almost jumped in. He just sat there ignored them and played on his phone. The rule divided our family. I’m not going to say it routined our stay because it didn’t but it 100% will stop me from rebooking this hotel again. Such a shame because everything else was spot on.

  Liked: Staff, room, facilities, animation team, food were fantastic

  Disliked: My wife won a prize on white night, a massage,the next day which was our last, tried to get a massage and there was no one doing the massages, so she missed out. If you give a prize at least honour it.

  Fantastic... will 100% be back

  Liked: Brilliant holiday from start to finish. Perfect for families. So much fun for the kids. Staff are incredible (shout out to our girl Regina on the entertainment staff 🫶🏼) Apartments are lovely & spacious & the site in general is immaculately clean. Good food choices as part of the all inclusive. Entertainment is non stop throughout the day & night. Surrounding area has everything you need, local shops & restaurants if you want to dine out, beach a few minutes walk away. Albufeira Old Town only $8 in an Uber and definitely worth visiting at any time of the day.

Please note that the Mini Aqua Park is divided in 2 zones: a central island for children from 2 to 17 years old and four slides for children from 6 (or with more than 20 Kg of weight) to 17 years old (access conditioned to the signing of a liability term).
