Exceptional
An absolutely great apartment with a view to die for. Hopefully we’ll be back
Liked: What isn’t to love! The location with a balcony hanging over the Atlantic was to die for! It was a comfortably well furnished apartment but could possibly do with a couple of extra appliances such as an air fryer.

Outstanding view literally overlooking the ocean
Liked: I can’t imagine a better view in all Of peniche. Outstanding. And within a minute walk of two outstanding restaurants
Disliked: The only issue for us was that there must be a smoker who was also staying at / or lives in the building so we really were aware of the smell of cigarettes. Small Price to pay for the view, excellent location and great value for the money.
Amazing location on the cliffs
Liked: We were in the Blue apartment which was simply furnished but in a stunning location. It is showing signs of wear and tear but was clean. The kitchen is basic but fine for a few days stay with a two burner hob, microwave and sink and the room includes a couch, a drop down table and fold up stools. The bed was comfortable and falling asleep to the sounds of the crashing waves wonderful. There is a narrow balcony with furniture but it was mostly too windy and cold the time of year we visited to make use of it. The town has few stores so stock up at the bigger supermarket in Peniche. The bakery is good. We had an excellent meal at Sol et Vida nearby and Umami looked good too.
Disliked: Though the apartments are non smoking inside supposedly someone was smoking in their room (unsure if actually the hosts rooms) which did permeate our room somewhat.
Disappointing and not as advertised
Liked: The location and views were world class
Disliked: The apartment smelled of cigarettes as i was told the owners son lives downstairs and smokes even though there are no smoking signs everywhere. The mattress was old and worn. Awful. It caused low back pain to flare up and i was unable to surf during my trip. I was told the heating only works between 5pm and 11am yet at the end of my trip, which i left early i was told the heater is broken.
Liked: The apartment is quite simple, which matches the price – but the location is absolutely unbeatable. The housekeeper is truly the heart of the place – super friendly and always ready to help if you need anything. There’s free parking right in front of the place at any time of day, and from there everything is easy to reach. Perfect spot to relax and surf at the beautiful beaches with great waves.
