Very good
“Great Location, But Not the Quietest Stay”
Liked: I really liked the location of the second place. Being able to get to the beach easily meant I could spend my afternoons by the ocean, which was probably my favourite part of staying here. I loved being able to come back after a long day at the beach, take a shower, have something to eat and just settle in with my crochet and some TV. It was a different experience from the first place, but I still enjoyed having somewhere to come back to after my days out. Overall, it was a good base for the last few days of my Peniche holiday.
Disliked: There were definitely a few things I didn’t like about the second place. The biggest issue was the noise. The walls were thin, and the cleaning staff were extremely loud in the morning, even though there were still guests trying to sleep. Being woken up by three people talking and laughing loudly at 11h was definitely not the peaceful start to the day I was hoping for. I also wasn’t impressed with the check-in. I arrived at the area several hours before check-in, which I understood, but the instructions for actually getting into the B&B were only sent a 20 min before 15h. By that point, I had already spent hours waiting around in the heat with my luggage, so the delay was frustrating. Overall, I found the second place less peaceful than I would have liked, especially when I was hoping for somewhere I could properly rest after spending the day out.
Liked: Breakfast included - don't expect something special. You will get some yogurts in the fridge, one type of cheese and some salami. Also you will find there some cereals
It was lovely to stay there
Liked: My room was very cosy exactly like on the photo. I love the location -- just in front of the Fortress. I received right instructions for check-in. And I love the piano, it's antique and the sound is very nice.
Disliked: I had quite strange instructions about the breakfast. It was complicated to understand where is the food of other people and what I can eat for the breakfast. I've never seen anybody at the reception so I couldn't ask a person about it. And that's it, the rest was just perfect.
Disliked: Casinos, carousels, disco till 3am just bellow the room. Terrible noise, lights...
Liked: Great location. Comfortable bed
