Pleasant
It was not worth my money
Liked: Location.
Disliked: Super old, everything is broken, mini tv, dirty balcony.

Disliked: The flat was very dirty: we found hair in the shower, in the bed, mold in the bathroom ceiling, there were suspected white stains on some pillows (it looked like dry cum!), mold and crumbs in the kitchen, finger prints of previous guests all over (on tv screen, on chairs…). When I contacted the host he replied just in portoguese all the time (not good communication), as I chased for intervention he said that “it doesn’t work like that. When and if I found a cleaning Lady i will send her to check”. The cleaning lady came in the end quite quickly, and pretended to clean but after we came back we find a long hair in the bed again, in the kitchen basin and on the floor (which was still not cleaned) Dust still was on the top of the bed and on all the furniture. She also said that the bad conditions of the apartment were not her responsibility (true, she cannot be blamed for mold, peeling plaster) but she confirmed that the flat is very old and needs a restoration (so basically they are renting an uncared and unsafe place and they know it). When we then checked the linen in the bed there were blood spots belonging to someone else! The host stated that they were washed and maybe the cleaning lady simply didn’t see them (??) We had to leave the first night itself. The host never replied to Booking.com after my complaining and the worst thing has been Booking itself which said that, as the host is not replying, and it’s not their fault if a dirty place is on their own platform, they can just provide a refund compensation of 15%, which even does not cover the first night of that disgusting hole they are selling. Stay away from west coast Peniche if you don’t want to ruin your holiday stay in Peniche (which in the end doesn’t worth a visit according to us).

Liked: It was central. It was clean. Bathroom very small, needs to be upgraded. Trip to Bergalas is a must!
Liked: We really enjoyed our staying in West Coast Peniche. Location is perfect, place clean and our host was really flexible with the service. Love to come again.
Disliked: In this time of a year (Dezember) it was a bit colder in the room but we could deal with that easily.
Not the best of experiences
Liked: Good location
Disliked: The details were inaccurate. It claimed to have tennis courts(!). non existent. Details said there was a terrace. Our rooms had no terrace, in fact, it looks like these is only one room with a terrace. Towels and the beds were damp.
