Liked: The electric heaters in the bedrooms and the living room were very helpful on these cool days. We had everything we needed in the kitchen and the parking area is quite large

  Misleading

Liked: Was very convenient to the airport.

Disliked: Owner states unit is available for check-in at 16:00 on description but only after we asked about checking in a bit early were we told it would be a late check-in as the cleaning lady was late. He wouldn't allow us to check-in until after 18:00. Good thing we didn't show up at 16:00. Only gave it the score we did because they allowed our pet which we appreciate.

  Passable

  Liked: Beautiful backyard

Disliked: Few things needed to be taken care of before we checked in. The sink faucet was loosen. The second floor smell was musky and had to open the window all the time. Kitchen appliances were not clean. There was no back up of soap.

  Exceptional

Liked: Great location just behind the airport, Casa da Figueira is a great spot to explore the island. There is everything you need to spend a few days. It is a bit noisy because of the planes, but there are not so much and the last one is around 9pm.

Disliked: Just the noise due to planes, but not really an issue if you spend the day outside.
