  Amazing place to stay!

  Liked: Really loved the accomodations and Ruben was a great host. Our flight got massively delayed and he was very accommodating. The place is rustic but very comfortable with a indoor fireplace, fully equipped kitchen and everything you need. We were also welcomed with some wine and local foods which was amazing! The jacuzzi and the sauna are perfect. With the sudden weather changes on the island, we just decided to abandon a planned hike and spend a day with the jacuzzi, sauna and with a few series in front of the fireplace. Will definitely book it again when visiting the Azores.

  Wonderful

  Liked: We stayed here as a group of four adults and had a really lovely experience. The property is in a very peaceful, green setting surrounded by nature, which gives it a beautiful and relaxing atmosphere. A car is definitely recommended for exploring São Miguel, and private parking is available on site. The apartment was clean, comfortable and very well equipped. The beds were especially comfortable, and we really appreciated the washing machine, kitchen facilities, bathrobes and separate towels for the jacuzzi. The jacuzzi was one of the highlights of our stay and we used it almost every evening. There is also a sauna, a barbecue area, hammocks and a small outdoor seating area, which makes the place perfect for relaxing after a day of sightseeing. A special mention goes to the host. We booked only a few hours before arrival, and he was extremely flexible and prepared everything perfectly for us. We were also welcomed with local products, fruit, cheese, milk, wine and coffee, which was a very thoughtful touch. A wonderful, peaceful place with a great host. We would happily stay here again.

  Liked: Sehr gute Lage um die Insel zu entdecken. Sehr zuvorkommender und aufmerksamer Gastgeber, der uns mit lokalen Produkten verwöhnte. Er gab uns wertvolle Insidertipps, empfahl fantastische Touren, Aussichtspunkte und Restaurants, wo es den besten Fisch bei bester Aussicht aufs Meer gibt. Der Whirlpool nach einer anstrengenden Tour war extrem entspannend - alles prima!

  Excelent stay with great host

  Liked: We had a wonderful stay at at Azores Casa de Mata wellness Spa. House was equipped with everything you need. Reuben is a wonderful host. He welcomed us with a basket of local products. Reuben is also a local guide and willing to share all his knowledge with you. I couldn't reccomend his place and himself enough. Thank you for a wonderful stay.
