  Lovely old building, very convenient

  Liked: Very convenient for the airport. Our plane was delayed and we arrived very late at night, they were lovely about it. Top place.

  Liked: Casa do Campo de Sao Francisco is the most wonderful place we have ever stayed. The historic character and personality of the building and decor of the many common areas were magical. Our hosts, David and his partner, were very attentive and quickly responded to any requests. Excellent included breakfasts with our stay. The location was very conveniently located in old town Ponta Delgada on an historic square near the Sao Bras Fort, Church of St Joseph, Our Lady of Hope Convent and the Lagarta Tourist Train. We could not have asked for a better location or more gorgeous views. We would definitely stay here again.

  Disliked: The only drawback is no elevator due to the historic nature of the hotel.
