  We enjoyed our stay and felt very comfortable

  Liked: The property was clean and well appointed. The apartment was comfortable and had what we needed. The location was convenient with a nice walk (approximately 30 minutes) into town along the sea. We enjoyed having an outdoor space as well. Our hosts were very communicative and helpful providing us with local suggestions as well as answering any questions that we had.

  Disliked: The property met our expectations.

  Liked: Wonderful terrace with ocean view, spacious rooms. Well equiped.

  Disliked: Some of the towels smelled really bad and also the inside of the fridge was very smelly (like something rot inside). The fridge was also very loud.

  Liked: Our stay at Consul's Ocean View was exceptional. The location had easy, safe street parking. The apartment lived up to the description and pictures and then some. The view of the water and the huge balcony were amazing. The space itself was very comfortable. We could easily walk into downtown Ponta Delgada in about 15 minutes with an easy walk along the water. But most importantly - the host/manager Francisco was incredibly helpful. We needed a last-minute booking after an inter-island flight cancellation, and he found a different property for us, met us there at 11 PM to let us in, and even brought us wine and snacks since everything was closed!! The other property was also great, and we moved down the street to this property once it was ready. He allowed us to leave our bags and pick up the keys several hours before the official check-in time. I can't say enough great things about our experience with these 2 accommodations. Thank you!!

  Gorgeous view and well-equipped apartment

  Liked: We had a lovely stay at the Consuls Ocean View. The apartment is spacious and well-equipped, with two toilets, a spacious main bathroom, sizeable living area, and two large bedrooms. All rooms have a heat/AC unit, and the kitchen is also well stocked with appliances and everything else you might need. There was a washer and dryer on one of the three patios. The hosts were responsive to all our inquiries, and provided a ton of recommendations on the island. The view of the ocean from the main deck is truly special, and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Would recommend!

  Disliked: We found the beds a bit hard, but overall it wasn't an issue for our stay.

  Liked: Very comfortable and well appointed. Hosts were great.. very easy to contact and they let us in early upon our early arrival - which made it SO easy for international visitors! They also provided lots of suggestions for local restaurants and attractions.
