  Uncomfortable rooms for the price paid, overall disappointing and highly overpriced

  Liked: It’s well situated in downtown of ponta delgada and the self check in was very easy.

  Disliked: This was one of the worst places I have stayed in for the price paid. The beds were uncomfortable and they did not have a top sheet on them and instead had an old, itchy comforter that did not seem like it was washed. My partner and I did not sleep from how uncomfortable it was, and we’re people who regularly stay in mountain hiking huts, etc. It’s obvious the owners take advantage of the high hotel prices in ponta delgada and keep their costs low by having shared bathrooms for guests and not investing in the comfort of the rooms.

  Liked: Everything was great—clean, tidy, and comfortable. The location is excellent, with everything you might need nearby.

  Disliked: The only minor issue was that the lock on the bathroom door was a bit difficult to close.

  Very good stay

  Liked: This room is very good value in an expensive town. The kitchen is actually very good with organized refrigerator and drawer space. The area is quiet and near 2 botanical gardens. The shared bathroom has a good shower and was only used by 2 rooms when we were there. Everything was clean. We had a nice small deck with a table overlooking sea and city in front of us.
