  Great location, great staff, all in all a very nice stay

  Liked: The breakfast was good, with things to choose from a menu but also a very nice buffet with a lot of local products. Loved the cheese collection.

  Great location, friendly staff, clean & good value

  Liked: Location is great, breakfast amazing, staff very helpful & accommodating

  Disliked: Parking, accessible room the aircon wasn’t fully working & the shower door did not close nor was it big enough for a wheelchair to enter.

  Nice and clean boutique hotel, but service could be finessed

  Liked: Location is very central and entrance is on a nice pedestrian street in the core. We were greeted by a lovely male concierge who brought us to our room and explained all the amenities and offerings. It started strong as a boutique hotel with nice little touches. The shared areas were clean and updated. The pool is one of a kind and very relaxing.

  Disliked: We had reserved a parking spot and after the first day, we found it was accidentally occupied by another car. The hotel staff asked us to park in another spot much further into the garage temporarily. After we returned to the hotel, they called our room to ask us to permanently switch parking spots rather than just ask the other car to go back to their designated spot. Ok np. They then proceeded to call our room 3x while we were trying to nap. When we finally answered they pressed for us to return the key fob designated to the original spot. We didn't understand the urgency that resulted in such a disruption to our stay. The staff are also a bit condescending but perhaps that's just the normal tone of hospitality staff here. The aforementioned pool was beautiful but unfortunately some of the jets were broken. There was also a sauna that was inoperable as well during our stay. Breakfast was a bit confusing. The first morning we were not greeted or explained that there were ala carte options from a menu, so we just ate bread and cheese. The next day we discovered there were eggs and omelettes available to order.

  Wonderful stay!

  Liked: Beautiful room, clean, great location and friendly staff. Breakfast is excellent!

  Disliked: Got a little smoke smell in our room from kitchen in the evenings, I think through the air conditioning system. But we’d stay here again!

  Liked: A really lovely small boutique hotel. All the more a lovely stay due to the exceptionally friendly and helpful staff! If we return to San Miguel we will certainly stay here again.

  I would definitely stay here again

  Liked: the breakfast was beyond my expectations. In addition to the plentiful offerings, it took into consideration my dietary restrictions and with pleasantness. The staff were friendly, full of tips and assistance, and easy with which to communicate.
