  Liked: This studio has everything you could ask for. It's fully equipped, spotlessly clean, has free parking, air-condition, even a complimentary basket with snacks. The host, Graca, is super friendly and attentive. Best value for money ever.

  We enjoyed our stay very much and highly recomment Pineapple Studios for a stay on Saõ Miguel!

  Liked: Gracia is such a nice host! We felt very welcome at her accommodation. She and her husband Paulo gave us recommendations for local restaurants and hiking trails and also showed us their pineapple plantation and shared some interesting informations about it. Every day she change the bedsheets, cleaned the accommodation and even did our laundry - that's really a great service:)

  Disliked: At night you can hear the noise from the nearby highway.

  True local knowledge

  Liked: The location was great and the hospitality by the hosts superb. Great recommendations and whole island mapped with places to visit. Very much appreciated. The owners work extremely hard to make you feel welcome, to keep the flats perfect and are very friendly.

  Disliked: I can't think of anything that we didn't like as such.

  It was peaceful, clean, and comfortable but, with lack of privacy

  Liked: We enjoyed how absolutely clean the place was, the wonderful super comfortable bed, the beautiful towels, the opportunity to have your laundry processed by the host free of charge, and the parking situation along with the gated area. 8.29.26: Host’s review reply “re-written”. Rating was changed from “8” to “1” “NOT” due to accommodation but, to host “lying” about her guests. Other review replies were also taken down the same day as ours.

  Disliked: 8.26.26: Updated rating due to the categorically false, and "personal" inappropriate statements made by the host in response to our positive/objective review. The “free laundry” services, and the daily intrusion entry in the apartment, does not give this host a pass for spewing untruths, and attack her guest's character. This host’s response to "unfavorable" reviews is very telling. Host's reply/false statements taken down on 8.26.26. The main thing we did not enjoy was the intrusion of coming into the apartment daily. We felt that it was not necessary, and if we were in need of some extras like towels we could have asked for them. We have traveled a lot, and when renting apartments we feel it should feel like we have a piece of home "privately" and it didn't feel like that. We feel maybe the hosts should ask if that is something their clients want prior to just coming in the apartment each day upon us leaving it for the day. It felt, intrusive and as if we didn't really have the privacy we are used to. Also, the laundry being done free of charge is a great perk however, if laundry is set out on the drying rack outside by us the client, is should not be handled unless asked. Again, we came back to the apartment to find all of our laundry taken off the rack and processed. Appreciated of course but, we were not informed it was going to be done, and because our intimate apparel was not something we care others to handle, and we had washed it ourselves, we came back to the apartment to find it had been taken off the drying rack and processed without our approval. We really recommend that the hosts as pleasant as they both were to keep in mind the privacy factor, and allow their tennants to ask for what they need instead of taking it upon themselves to intrude in their space. With that said, and as previously mentioned on the "good", it was a great apartment.

  Amazing

  Liked: Everything was great and perfect. The hosts were really friendly and took care of us perfectly. We stayed for 9 days, cooked for ourselves as well. We could explore the whole island since the accomodation was in a great location.
