  Beautiful house and garden

  Liked: We had a brilliant couple of weeks at Quinta do Ferreiro; Francisco and his wife were really friendly and welcoming, and had done everything possible to make us feel at home. There was a freshly baked cake waiting for us on arrival which was delicious (thank you!). They were also really helpful with top tips on where to go and the best restaurants, etc. The house and garden are even nicer than the pictures, it was all very beautiful and comfortable. The garden and the area surrounding the pool is stunning, a lovely place to relax. Please note: the area around the pool with the outdoor kitchen and sun loungers I believe is shared with Francisco and his family (they were mostly away while we stayed) but you also have outdoor seating outside the bedrooms which is also lovely and gets the sun all day. The house and garden overall is very spacious and has many different places to relax, so there are always good options for everyone to choose where to be. There are luxuries like the hot tub and sauna, and the outdoor kitchen is brilliant for barbecues and group dining in the sunshine. I found the bed comfortable and there are thicker pillow options in the cupboard so you can choose a more fluffy one (which I did).

  Disliked: If I could ask for anything different for next time, it would be for a dustpan and brush that was easier to use (as we were there for 2 weeks we needed to clean after ourselves more). The only tricky thing is the parking - the parking spaces outside on the street are very tight but we got used to that over two weeks.

  Excellent experience!

  Liked: We pretty much liked everything.Very nice property. Everything we would need was provided. Pool was a plus. Welcome cake was absolutely delicious! Host even helped with recommendations for sightseeing and restaurants.

  Disliked: Parking was an issue on a couple of nights.

  Liked: Everything was perfect: very kind, polite and friendly host with the best recommendations about the island (he did everything to make us feel at home), big and clean apartment with everything you need and a fantastic garden with sauna, swimming pool and jacuzzi. We had a great time there. Thank you very much.
