  Lovely, comfy stay

  Liked: Staff were amazing, helpful and friendly, nothing was too much trouble. Bathroom nice and clean. Breakfast adequate, fresh bread, ham, cheese, yogurt and granola, butter, and jam. Choice of tea and coffee, and orange juice.

  Disliked: May be a little noisy from the street as it's on a corner, but any noise seemed to have died down by 10.30pm. Wasn't really an issue.

  Quiet hotel in great location with friendly staff

  Liked: Very friendly staff, small and quiet hotel in a great location relative to port, waterfront; short and pleasant walk to downtown. Management was very accommodating of my plans (for quietest room, early morning breakfast, etc). Reasonably priced compared to (more upscale) hotels nearby.

  Disliked: My room, perhaps because of the humid weather and being an inner-facing room, had an unpleasant damp smell each time I walked in - this dissipated (or I stopped noticing) within a couple of minutes of having the AC on. Room furniture overall could use a revamp, but everything served its purpose. To me these were minor points as I was always out of the room and very much valued the location, silence and price.

  Liked: Cleanliness, every day our room was cleaned and the towels changed which is really important with this level of humidity, very friendly Staffa

  Liked: The staff were very friendly and the place itself was great. Only a 15 minute walk to the centre and parking was free in nearby streets. We got a lovely room on the second floor which was spacious and clean. Overall, exceeded my expectations, and would definitely stay there again!

  Disliked: Being close to a main road, it was a bit noisy at times, but not so much that I could not sleep.
