Exceptional
Liked: Its a very nice, clean and cosy guesthouse. Vanessa is really nice and I love Charlie, the dog. Its not too far from the center.

Calm and comfortable stay in Sao Miguel
Liked: Spacious, light, and airy room that overlooked a relatively quiet neighborhood street with a clean, shared hallway bath. Well located within the city, proximate to the airport, sea, shops, gardens, and ferry terminal. Access to a fully equipped kitchen and self service continental breakfast with coffee, tea, fruits, cheeses, meats, eggs, breads, pastries, yogurts, cereals, etc. Shared personal fridge space for those with special dietary needs or preferences. Private outdoor terrace with plants and seating for taking lunch or dinner. Fast wifi with adequate electrical plugs. A very chill rescue dog also provides for comic relief... Thanks to my host for a pleasant, enjoyable, and quiet stay! And to my taxi drivers for their safe driving and expedient arrivals! Accessibility notes: The main level is accessible which includes one bath with a walk-in shower, but one will need to access the bedrooms via standard sets of stairs as these are located on levels 2 and 3 of the guesthouse. No lift/elevator is available at this time.
Disliked: Avoid the public transit directions on google maps at this time for accessing the public bus to arrive into the city as the closest stops to the PDL airport terminal are not easily accessible on foot, especially in adverse weather conditions. Accordingly, it will be best to either rent a vehicle or take a taxi to access this guesthouse (and any other accommodations on the island). A taxi to the guesthouse was 10 euros each way. Free, on-street parking within the immediate area was quite limited at times.
Like being at home!
Liked: Excellent stay at Vanessa's: the house had everything. Great breakfast, bathroom with everything you could need, fresh towels, super clean, and great TV room and kitchen as well. We had a great stay in Ponta Delgada and felt like home.

Liked: The host was amazing, she really took care of us and made sure that breakfast was full of tasty & healthy choices for every morning. Loved it!
Lovely & homey guesthouse
Liked: Lovely guesthouse with lots of attention to detail! The free breakfast had really great variety, there’s even a selection of little toiletries in the bathrooms and Vanessa was really kind, responsive and gave us lots of useful recommendations. Would always come back:)
Disliked: The place is close to the airport and you can hear the planes - however, it did not bother or affect us (or our sleep) at all
Lots of fun in Ponta Delgada!
Liked: The Bnb is nicely located within walking distance of many restaurant shops, and even our whale watching tour. Charlie is a great addition to the property.
Disliked: Nothing.
