  Liked: Nice property and friendly reception staff. Beautiful and clean room. Might be a relaxing place for longer stay, but felt it was too expensive.

  Disliked: Restaurant for a 5 star hotel was really underwhelming. More of a Bistro food type, rather than fine dining. The location is a bit off. Not really the nice view and resort type feeling as one would expect. You have to walk to the beach via a field path and a street. From the balcony we could see this field was not really clean. Some garbage here and there.

  Was super confortable and the location is really perfect (in front of the beach Monte Verde)

  Liked: The breakfast was was really good and honestly too much food diversity:)

  Disliked: I really didn´t like the towels, they could use conditioner during the washing. They were really dry and hard (but this is more a personal taste). However, I think they could think about it. Also, in my opinion the price peer night is really too overpriced. Only people who can really afford can stay in Verde Mar Hotel.

  Centrally located in the north coast of Saint Miguel island and the room is clean comfortable. A good base for exploring

  Liked: Centrally located, clean comfortable room. Nice sea view

  Disliked: The onsite parking is great, but could be a bit challenging to find a spot late in the day during busy season. Fortunately there are also street parking right round the hotel.

  Overall it was a pleasant stay, friendly staff, and nice pool and spa
