  Incredible stay in a gorgeous location!

  Liked: Unique setting with plenty of space! We were a couple in our late 20s visiting the Azores for the first time. To have the whole place to ourselves was a dream and the location was perfect - not too far from downtown (about 25 min drive), and very close to the hot springs (which we went almost every day!). I enjoyed sitting outside on the lawn and grateful to have the secure gate to park our vehicle. The house has plenty of amentities to make your stay comfortable! We were pleasantly surprised to have coffee, bread, eggs, milk, and yogurt waiting for us in the fridge when we arrived:)

  Very good stay, facilities are good, a unique experience staying in a Windmill. Great location

  Disliked: Lots of stairs to negotiate between the bedrooms and the bathroom, hazardous for those of us needing to pee at night! Slightly damp, musty smell, perhaps not surprising but it did affect our wellbeing and took an edge off the overall enjoyment.
