  Liked: Sunset Nest is a gorgeous cottage with so much charm. We loved the unique design, the stunning sunset views from the terrace, and the beautiful, greenhouse style shower area. The host was very responsive and welcoming, and the location serves as a peaceful, lovely base for exploring the western side of São Miguel.

  Disliked: The main issue we experienced was the presence of two cats on the property. My partner has a severe cat allergy, and this was totally our fault because we missed this information from the listing. It caused significant discomfort during our stay. If you are afraid of spider or other bugs this place is not for you.

  Liked: We had a wonderful stay at Sunset Nest. It is a charming and well-equipped house, and a great base for exploring the island, especially the Sete Cidades area. We especially enjoyed the beautiful sunsets and the lovely spots for swimming in the sea nearby. Tania was always easy to reach and very helpful whenever we had questions. We really enjoyed our stay and would happily come back!

  Very charming cottage, great location to explore east of island

  Liked: One of the best stays we had in the island. Loved the bathroom, and overall charm of the cottage. There are two cats who are very friendly, we enjoyed their company. Easy communication with the owner through whatsapp.

  Disliked: Maybe balcony could be improved, it looks a bit raw and unfinished.

  Liked: Beautiful self-contained little house. Decorated so nicely makes you want to stay in the home. Super friendly, family owned with very friendly cat!

  Liked: The place had a fantastic view. Communication with the owner was great. Two lovely cats kept us company.

  Disliked: The house has lots of charm however moldy/humidity smell was overpowering and impacted our stay.

  Such a bliss

  Liked: Such a cute and cozy place! I wished we stayed there more than one night! Especially the bathroom is wonderful and you can enjoy the sunset from the terrace
