  Huge disappointment

  Liked: The place was a dump. The courtyard area looks like it's a state of construction that began and never finished. There are junk cars in the courtyard. An engine block sits waiting to be put into god knows what. The pool was all slimey green. Host speaks less English than you do Portuguese. The room itself, however, was spotless. Looks like it has recently been renovated. Dogs bark nearby and roosters crow in the morning. Welcome to rural Silves. Don't even consider this place.

  Brilliant stay. Handy location if you want the perks of the Algarve without the crowds and the price tag. Beautiful home

  Liked: Very well located, well equipped quiet property. Close enough to the Algarve, but far enough away from the crowds. Plenty to do as it’s a 5min drive from Silves town. Quiet time was respected between guests and hosts. Extremely clean, smelled amazing, was well decorated, comfortable, with a king size bed, air conditioning and mosquito nets on all doors and windows. The breakfast, very well priced, was fresh (with freshly baked bread and buns) and had a good variety, the swimming pool was cleaned daily. There’s everything you might need in the room (3 guests), is a fully functional apartment. The balcony was fantastic, with amazing views. Me, my partner and child had a brilliant time. We spent a lot of time in the pool area and was always quiet and clean. Renata and her family were excellent hosts, always there when needed, going above and beyond. Recommend 100%.

  Peaceful week at Villa Madeira

  Liked: We stayed at Villa Madeira for a week and had a very peaceful stay. The room was spotlessly clean and equipped with every comfort (a small fridge, air conditioning, and plenty of space); the only minor drawback was that light comes in as soon as the sun rises. The property also features a shared outdoor kitchen (the owner was very kind and provided us with all the utensils we needed). Additionally, the property has a pool, parking, and all the amenities
