  OK simple place

  Liked: We liked the location nearby friends and being on the river and walking distance from town. Also, the artistic feel of the place and the beautiful greenery was lovely. Pool was cold this time of year, but catching some rays by the pool was nice. The host was responsive.

  Disliked: We felt a little micromanaged by the host at times. He would knock quite often to tell us things like to be aware of the floors or how to dry our towels, not my favorite vibe. The house is not so sound proofed and there is a train next door which did spook me at times.

  Casa do Rio is a very unique Inn minutes walk to fabulous downtown Tavira. The pool was great and balcony was wonderful

  Great place to stay, would definitely recommend it

  Liked: The pool is amazing. Sea water which meant we didn't need to queue for ages to get the boat to the beach. The the place is uniquely decorated aby Sabastian which was gorgeous. Sabastian himself is lovely. As it is his home, he is always around and can't do enough for you. The location is a 5 minute walk into the town which is perfect. There was a restaurant almost next door if you didn't want to walk into town too.

  Disliked: The mattress was a little springy and not hugely comforatble. It wasn't a huge problem though and it didn't stop us sleeping.

  A great location for a short stay

  Liked: We appreciated Sebastian's hospitality, the proximity to downtown, and the pool

  Disliked: There's no equipment to make breakfast or have a cup of coffee in the morning.
