  Enjoyable stay in the heart of Tavira with wonderful river views and a friendly host

  Liked: Very friendly host and easy access at the hotel next door to get into the unit. Kitchen area was large with multiple refrigerators and a good dishwasher. The balconies with river view are the best feature and great for people watching. Easy to walk into the main downtown areas and bridges of Tavira. We were just two people and having all of that space was great. Wonderful jetted tub in the upstairs bathroom. Lots of closet space (we stayed 13 nights so that was very handy).

  Disliked: The location is great but out front there is are recycling bins and for some reason people would thow in glass bottles between 11 PM and 2:30 AM which was loud enough to wake us up every night. The internet connection had issues for our final two days and wasn't resolved before we left (they tried but wanted to come back at 10 PM and we were already in bed since leaving early for our train the next morning). When we checked in, we didn't have enough bath towels (just smaller towels and bath mats) but then they were quickly provided; "dust bunnies" under all of the beds but otherwise very clean.

  Lovely spacious apartment overlooking the town action

  Liked: The location in the center of town and across the ferry was great. The apartment is spacious, very comfortable and well equipped, even with beach umbrellas. We spent many hours watching people come and go.

  Would highly recommend this town and accommodation

  Liked: Lovely accommodation overlooking the river with great facilities. Close to cafes, restaurants and supermarkets. Opposite the ferry to the nearby wonderful beach. 15-20 minute walk to a nature reserve with flamingos.

  Disliked: Some noise during the night
