  Beautiful, comfortable flat in a beautiful, well appointed building, great for exploring to area

  Liked: A really nice, modern, well designed place in a beautifully converted old convent with excellent facilities (private parking, swimming pool + loungers, patio area, poolside toilets/ showers etc). Good kitchen and bathroom facilities with everything we needed for a stay with a toddler (washing machine, travel cot, high chair etc). We all loved the huge pool too though our 3 year old daughter found it a little cold. If the days had been a bit hotter it would have been welcome no doubt! Close to the centre of town too, nothing was too much of a walk away. Service was good.

  Disliked: Service was very good generally but we weren’t instructed on the pedestrian gate access which was not entirely obvious how to function. I got close but not close enough (in the dark)! Some other residents helped show me what to do. When I rang to ask they were slightly disgruntled at the question (it was just past the 8pm check-in when I called, but still…we were already in the flat and they hadn’t shown/ told us what to do). Minor really. Also no instruction on what to do with your litter. They want you to empty it all but don’t tell you how to sort it / where to take it. No clues in the flat (I.e. separate bins). Turns out the recycling bins are on street side immediately opposite the building, general waste into the ‘non-separable’(?) bin. Easy to do once you know but left having to work it out, and it’s not the sort of thing you think to ask about! Also we had the mezzanine bed made up as a double for us so our toddler could be in her own bedroom that had a door, in hindsight we should have just slept in the same (main) bedroom, the mezzanine bed mattresses were not at the same level. That one was slightly on us but weren’t to know about the bed set-up.

  We had a lovely time

  Liked: Clean and well equipped apartment. Superb pool.

  Disliked: The property was listed as up to 6 people. It would not have been suitable for that. The twin room was in a mezzanine about the living room so no deportation from noise. Anyone sleeping on the sofa bed would have to go up to the mezzanine to use the bathroom or down into the double bedroom …. So only really suitable for children.

  Super place to stay in Tavira

  Liked: Plenty of space, nice finishing, great location, beautiful swimming pool. Good job!

  Disliked: The beds in the mezzanine are not comfortable. I think you should invest in improving those.

  Relatively low vale for money

  Liked: The premises (not the apartment) are very nice and it is greatly located within walking distance from everything in Tavira.

  Disliked: Overly expensive... Apartments are ok'ish, but getting old - I have been going there on and off since it first oppened. And honestly if you drive +50km east to Spain you get the same level of accommodation for half the price. Pictures of the available apartments in booking.com are also very confusing not allowing you to identify which apartment is which.
