  Beautiful Tavria!

  Liked: The apartment is cute and has all that you need for 2 people - even a little balcony to enjoy early morning coffee. The location is exceptional - within walking distance of shops and places to eat in the historic district. The apartment was exceptionally clean. The city is lovely and beaches are close-by and the ferry is very easy to access from the apartment (walking).

  Disliked: The host was quite slow in sharing check-in information. We arrived after 7:00 pm and got the information from her only about 20 minutes before arrival (causing unnecessary stress). I had contacted her the day prior, so this was quite unfortunate. After that - the communication was fine. However, this should have been avoided. The same was true for checkout - but no where near as stressful.

  Excellent stay in Tavira

  Liked: My partner and I had a fantastic stay! The apartment was easy to find and access. It was perfectly clean and had everything we needed for a really comfortable stay. The location was great - we could easily get around Tavira and there was a convenient supermarket nearby.

  Sunny balcony. Convenient for Supermarket, Restaurants, Taxis and Waterfront. Would recommend

  Liked: It was very easy to get the keys from the box. The day before our arrival there had been a massive power failure in Spain and Portugal and we heard that many people could not get into their apartments as the electronic type systems had blown so it was nice and reassuring to have keys. Spacious and clean. Nice to have an Oven which is rare in Spain. Perfect location near the waterfront. Surprised the supermarket was open on a Sunday. Mama Mia Pizza just down stairs does nice food and takeaways. Dawat Indian on Waterfront very pleasant. Easy walk to everything including the fish and vegetable market where we bought swordfish. Followed owners advice and went to Tres Palmeiras fish restaurant which was quite an experience. (Start queuing at 11.45 or miss out). Its near the big Continente supermarket over the bridge. Its a 20 minute walk up hill to Lidl and train station. Taxis just outside apartment if needed. Train ticket to Faro for OAP (show Passport) just €1.50 The balcony is at the back of the building so quite quiet. Felt extremely safe walking at night. We were there on Labour day so dozens of stuffed dummies dressed in work clothes.

  Disliked: The studio was spacious and there was enough room for 2 comfy chairs to be added which would have made it perfect. It got uncomfortable having to lie on the bed to read our books. The kitchen chairs were ok but you couldn't sit on them all night. (There is no TV))

  Fantastic

  Liked: Fantastic apartment in a beautiful building. Lovely sunny balcony overlooking the rooftops. Spotlessly clean. Well equipped. Quiet location. Close to shops and all amenities. Wonderful town. Tourist train is great. Catch the bus to the little train that runs to the beautiful beaches.
