  Fantastic Apartment and

  Liked: What a great apartment! Everything was fantastic from the welcome basket, to the pools, to the location, the apartment did not disappoint and the photos don't do it justice. Very tastefully furnished and decorated everything you would need for a home away from home...except an oven. 😂 A minor as we didn't eat in much when Tavira has such quality choices for restaurants. (AI MÃE was our favourite. Recommend the Monk Fish Sharing dish). The Covent itself is great, it's gated and very well kept. The main pool area was excellent and very clean and the Location was just a short walk into town where you can also get the Ferry during the day to Tavira Beach, which is amazing, for around €2 return per adult. Cleaning Staff and management company are very attentive and always checking to see how your stay is going and their information links are great for most things in the area. We'd definitely look to book again next time we're in Portugal.

  Good location but not entirely living up to the hype in the name

  Liked: Very well equipped kitchen. Beds comfortable. 10 minutes walk to centre of Tavira. Location is not in main convent square shown in photos but down 20 steep steps below in a new row overlooking salt pans. Great for birdwatching especially Avocets and Stilts. Faces east so lots of sun in the morning and shady in the afternoon.

  Disliked: Main downside was lack of good out door furniture. Not nearly enough sunbeds by the pools (only10 at main pool and 2 at the small one) for a large number of apartments. Metal seats at apartment not very great. Comfortable folding seats would be much better and could be moved to poolside when all the sun loungers have been hogged by the usual suspects. Bedroom sparsely furnished with tiny tables placed behind awkward ly shaped headboard and no seats.

  Lovely apartment in a beautiful converted convent

  Liked: Hosts were very friendly and helpful and messaged every few days to make sure everything was OK. The whole place felt really relaxing and peaceful. The apartment had everything we needed to cook at home (the fresh fish from the market across the road was amazing) and is also a short walk to loads of cafes and restaurants. Beds are really comfy and the apartment was cleaned twice during our stay. Great welcome basket full of local produce. Would definitely recommend!

  Disliked: Unavoidable but the back bedroom can be quite noisy at night if there are people next door.

  Liked: Location was excellent, close to town centre, easy walk to shops and restaurants, only 15 mins to train station. Flat is very well equipped - everything you need in the kitchen. Communication from the agent was excellent - daily emails to check if there was any assistance we needed

  Disliked: It's expensive for an apartment and the charges to have an extra person in the two bedroom apartment felt unreasonable

  Excellent place to stay in pleasant town of Travira

  Liked: Great location, quality of property and excellent service.

  Disliked: There was only a hob and microwave and not an oven. Primary access via steep steps difficult with bags.

  A place worth visiting again

  Liked: The communication with the company managing the flats was flawless, they were extremely attentive and always ready to assist. The flat itself was fantastic: comfortable, clean, and in a quiet area. The host also left some delicious treats. I visited in winter, and the flat has three mini-splits throughout the property that can also heat the flat, so the cold outside was never felt indoors. Overall, it was a fantastic experience and one that would be perfect to repeat.

  Disliked: Nothing at all, everything was superb!
