  Liked: Everything felt very 'homey' - the food and ambience. The facilities were very clean and well maintained. The staff were incredibly helpful and nice! Very different experience to staying at a branded hotel - worth the experience.

  Overall the property’s rural setting was peaceful and calming

  Liked: The staff especially Elisa, she was friendly and always happy to help us.

  Disliked: The breakfast only starts at 9:00 am, an earlier start would have been appreciated. The property could use a gentle freshening up. No complimentary water or coffee in the room.

  A breathtaking, peaceful little oasis thay far exceeded my expectations

  Liked: The staff and the owner were extremely attentive and kind. You could tell that their top priority was to ensure that you had the best stay. If you want a quiet escape but still be relatively close to Tavira and the famous beaches, this is the place for you. Absolute, peaceful bliss and then only a 10 minute uber ride to Tavira. Also, if you are someone who is interested in unique interior design and architecture this hotel is the place for you. Beautiful room layout, thoughtful curation of furniture, fascinating antique books and decor with then pops/touches of modernity.

  Disliked: Nothing! It was simply perfect. I would definitely stay there again.

  Nice place and great staff. Historic and comfortable

  Liked: The hotel was beautiful and nicely appointed. The historic buildings were thought provoking and evocative.

  Disliked: The dinner that was offered was a bit lackluster. It had been previously prepared and reheated. It was far from farm to table as advertised.
