  We enjoyed our time in Tavira and we were grateful for a rental car, as we did a lot of exploring in the surrounding bea

  Liked: It had plenty of space and the kitchen was well stocked with appliances, dishes, etc.

  Disliked: There wasn’t anything that we didn’t “like” about the property, but there was a situation regarding the plumbing in a shower that required our attention and we were unable to use it for a day. The property manager was able to get it repaired the next day for us, it was appreciated.

  Tavira is beautiful and this modern condo was a welcome respite from the old towns of Portugal

  Liked: Loved this new and modern condo. Good points included garage, veranda, washer/dryer (although took us awhile to figure it out!), and dishwasher. And we saw flamingos a short drive away! We traveled to Seville for a day trip which is very doable from the condo.

  Disliked: I had to count it down slightly because we were only given two bath towels and not enough soaps to get us by and no facial tissue. This seems to be a norm for much of Portugal rentals which doesn’t make sense as these products can’t be a very large financial hardship. The condo is a bit out of town, but we had no problem driving into town and finding parking.

  We enjoyed our stay - recommend a car or Uber to get around. Tavira is lovely town to explore

  Liked: Terrace had wonderful views, the pool was lovely, and the accommodation was comfortable.

  Disliked: No response from the host regarding no towels in one bedroom and our concern about overflow of water in one shower. Also no info about how to access the garage - luckily there was parking in front of the building.

  Spectacular apartment, extremely well equipped, beds very firm

  Liked: The apartment is spectacular, modern, has pretty much everything you would need, you could live in this place easily. Balconies on the living room and one which runs all alongside the bedrooms. The view from the living room balcony is fabulous looking out over Tavira and to the sea. Big space in the underground car park that we managed to fit 3 motorbikes in. The fridge in the kitchen has an ice maker and dispenses ice cold water which we loved. Spacious and air conditioned in each room (other than bathrooms) which made the temperature comfortable. I had minimal communication with the host but they seemed very friendly and nice. We didn't mind that the location is a little out of the centre as we used ubers to get about (cheap and no issues getting one), but I can see that those wanting to walk in and out might find it a little far out, Google maps says it's around a 30 minute walk, but it's up hill on the way home! If you stay for a longer period (we were there around a week) you will need to remember to buy your own toilet paper, there was enough for a few days provided though so that gets you started.

  Disliked: The beds were very firm, to the point of preventing us sleeping unfortunately (we were a group of middle aged adults with the associated aches and pains!). This is the only reason we probably wouldn't return. Perhaps some mattress toppers would help?

  Lovely stay in Tavira

  Liked: The apartment is amazing, fresh and really welcoming. There is everything you need to have a comfortable stay. The flat is modern and big enough for 6 people.

  Disliked: It would be great to have better pillows and bed sheets!

  Superb stay in a really comfortable apartment. The designated parking place was a real bonus Iwould recommend havinga c

  Liked: The property was clean, light and airy and we made good use of the balconies, which provide sunshine morning and evening

  Disliked: The only disappointing thing was the furniture on the balconies. The rattan has split and deteriorated, leaving a number of exposed sharp edges. The cushions also need replacement. Everything else was excellent.
