  Great apartment and great host!

  Liked: Loved the garden terrace. The place was clean and comfortable, I had everything I needed. Maria was a fantastic host - she gave me recommendations and I chatted with her throughout the stay. It was in a good location and easy to get to everything.

  Relaxing and home from home

  Liked: Our host Maria was truly exceptional. From our pre arrival the communication was excellent. Maria made our holiday 5star and more. The location was perfect, straight out the door into the centre of town. There was a four day music festival which began at the start of our stay and it didn’t make any difference to our calm little oasis. The garden was quiet and the turtle that has lived there for twenty four years was so cute. It would visit us daily for food which Maria had left in a container of turtle nibbles for us to feed it. On arrival back to Faro airport we were hit with flight cancellations. We headed back to Tavira and Maria sorted us with other accommodation which was equally delightful. What more could you ask for in a holiday. Great location, great accommodation, and a lovely host. We look forward staying at Marias home next September. Jools & Steve Somerset UK

  Liked: Very nice, historical, cosy place with a garden and turtle;) it was really nice to enjoy the stay in such a place, in lovely Tavira.

  Disliked: An extra glass for vine, and couple glasses for beer could do well;) But these are just tiny things that really do not worth counting.

  Liked: The location is excellent, very central and close to everything. The house has a cute little garden with hanging grape vines. The host is very responsive and welcoming. There’s a washer on site. Pet friendly.

  Disliked: It was difficult to find the property, I think they should create a step by step picture guide to make it easier. Only the main bedroom had AC, and the WiFi signal is very weak so it’s not good for people who need to work while on holiday.

  Liked: Building full of character. Stunning garden, beautiful plants. Our daughter loved the friendly tortoise that lives in the garden. Great views of the garden from the main bedroom. Very friendly and accommodating owner.

  Disliked: Second bedroom is fine, not as nice as the main bedroom.

  Very nice stay with a very nice host

  Liked: Maria the host was very welcoming, friendly and responsive. Everything was top and very cleaned. The townhouse garden and terrace were beautiful and green which added further charm. The location was superb.. close to everything, however the house being in a cul de sac, there was no noise. Super clean house and super clean bathroom. All amenities nearby..really a gem townhouse. We recommend eating at Maria's daughter restaurant at Casa de Pasto n0 37 on the main road The food and service were fantastic! We really enjoyed our stay!

  Disliked: Windows in the kitchen and 2nd bedroom could have added extra light... though there is natural light.. Nothing not to like.
