  Liked: The staff were lovely, talked through local recommendations and offered to store my luggage after checkout. Very comfortable sofas in the common room. It's very central, right by the beautiful square, which I could see from my balcony (as shown in pictures). Great value for money I think.

  Disliked: It's an old building, with worn furnishings etc (the pictures in the listing give a fair representation), and noise travels from inside and outside. But not a problem with earplugs. A small thing is that there isn't anywhere to make tea/coffee. But this isn't much of a issue, as you're steps away from some great cafes and restaurants on the street below. Overall can't complain! Again, great value for a private room 😁

  Liked: Price & Location excelente close to everything. I even liked the very traditional bathroom plenty of hot water.

  Disliked: Room key didn't work very well a really didgy lock 1st night locked fine from inside room, but in the morning 2-3 mins spent trying to unlock & with the amount of extension cords leading into extention cords it didn't feel very escapable if something happened.

  Old town hospitality

  Liked: Pleasant considerate, staff. Very clean. Old style residential. Only stayedva night, yet felt like a welcomed guest, not simply a paying customer. The location was perfect, easy access yet in center of beautiful old town Tomar. Not modern but I enjoy things like the big old room key instead of a room card. Lots of towels,soap,hot water. The shower/bath was excellent.

  Disliked: The entrance way/stairwell put me off at first but that soon passed.

  Good

  Liked: Good location, friendly staff! We had a shower in the room which is very useful since you have to share the toilet with more people. Located in the center, a lot of shops and cafes around. There is an ice cream place right in front of the hotel and it is open until the night, so it can be a bit noisy. We did not have a problem with it tho!:)

  Disliked: The hotel is old and kind of needs to be renovated. The rooms are getting hot very fast, but we had a fan( we had to sleep with it on).
