  If you want a broken TV, broken fridge, dirty shower curtains, hard to open doors do not stay here

  Disliked: The photos do not accurately reflect the apartment’s condition. They make it appear modern and clean, but in reality, it is dated and has several serious maintenance issues. The oven exhaust fan is broken, and the fridge never gets fully cold. Constant condensation on the fridge walls confirmed it was not working properly. The balcony door is also broken and requires excessive force to open from the interior. You must grip between the glass and wood panel, creating a serious risk of smashing your fingers or breaking the glass. The shower curtain is extremely dirty, covered in black spots that look gross. The door knobs are also extremely difficult to turn. My aging parents struggled to open them independently, and I repeatedly had to help them access the bathroom and bedroom. The TV was another major issue. Troia is very quiet, particularly after summer, with limited entertainment and only around 10 restaurants, making a working TV especially important. However, we could not access a single channel, and Netflix continuously displayed connection errors. I contacted the host immediately upon arrival and was told someone would urgently come to inspect the fridge and TV. When I followed up the next day, I received a copy-and-paste response saying they were working urgently to send someone. By the third day, it was clear no one was coming. During my four-day stay, I never received another update. I eventually contacted Booking.com for assistance and still received no resolution. Communication was also poor from the beginning. I arrived at 4:45 p.m. for a 5 p.m. check-in but had not received the instructions promised at noon. I had also messaged through WhatsApp and Booking.com about an early check-in and received no response. Overall, this was an extremely disappointing stay.

  Liked: Location is great

  Disliked: It was very cold in the apartment and only two portable heaters were provided which wasn’t enough to heat up the place. it was also very old fashioned and clearly needs to be refurbished. it was also pretty dirty, with a lot of dust and wet coaches

  Horrible, will not recommend to anyone

  Liked: Not a lot.

  Disliked: Towels were thin and small. Only provided one tea towel in kitchen. Kitchen was tiny and not at all well stocked. There was no washing machine even tho they advertised that there was one. The beds were rock hard and extremely uncomfortable. The Wi-Fi is dreadful total waste of space. Flat was dated and grubby. Had to leave (family death) 2 weeks into a 4 week stay and yet they refused any refund for unused days!!!!
