  A comfortable, peaceful stay in a great location—the perfect base for exploring Vila Nova de Milfontes

  Liked: The apartment is in a great location, just a 5-minute walk from the main road, yet far enough away to be peaceful and quiet. It is spacious and features two balconies: one overlooking a charming, quiet street and the other facing the inner courtyard. The TV could benefit from an update, but it worked perfectly with an HDMI adapter connected to my iPhone. Free parking was available directly in front of the apartment, which was very convenient.

  Disliked: Overall, I had no complaints and would happily stay here again.

With three comfortable bedrooms, a cosy living room and a fully equipped kitchen, the house is ideal for families or groups of friends looking for a special place to stay. Casa Cor-de-Rosa's privileged location allows easy access to Vila Nova de Milfontes' stunning beaches, such as Praia da Franquia and Praia do Farol, both just a short walk away. In addition, the proximity to the São Clemente Fort and the Southwest Alentejo and Costa Vicentina Natural Park offers countless opportunities to explore the region's rich history and lush nature.

  Disappointing

  Liked: My recent stay here was an average experience. The location of the house is great and convenient, but unfortunately, there were a few issues that made our stay less enjoyable. Firstly, the cushions provided for sleeping were uncomfortable, which affected the quality of our sleep. Secondly, the bathroom’s design is very outdated and it is not very well equipped. However, the main issue that really impacted our stay was the overwhelming number of religious pictures and portraits displayed throughout the entire house. As someone who values inclusivity and respects all religions, I found this to be quite uncomfortable and exclusive. While I understand that the host may have their own religious beliefs, it's important to keep in mind that the house is used by people from different religious backgrounds. I would recommend the host to be more mindful of their decor choices in the future. Overall, my stay was neither bad nor pleasant, but it would have been much better without the discomfort caused by the religious pictures.
