  Liked: Our stay in Vila Nova de Milfontes was exactly what we were looking for. The house met all our expectations: it was clean, the check-in process was seamless, and the location is incredibly peaceful. We especially loved the balcony for relaxing in the evenings. It’s also perfectly situated within easy walking distance of the beach. Highly recommended for a stress-free getaway!

  Ok for a overnight, not good enough for a holiday

  Liked: The location is perfect, walking distance to beach and restaurants. The house is in a no-through road which makes it quiet, although people come and park in front of your window if you are on the ground floor you ear it and it's quite annoying. Free from dogs barking which was a nice surprise. It's okay for an overnight but staying here a week for a holiday would be a bit much for someone as finicky as me.

  Disliked: The building's insulation is awful, so you hear people using the bathroom and toilet all the time. If 4 people are upstairs there are 4xshowers and 4xpulling the water for the toilet in addition to washing hands. Add that to the fact that it will happen between 7 and 8 am, sleeping late is not in the cards here. The picture shown at reception was not the house we were staying. We tried the key and nothing. Luckily the neighbour showed us the entrance at the back around the corner. We would not have guessed that. Lastly, the smell of the cleaning products is too strong (=cheap) and lingers for hours. For people who are sensitive to smells, this is a bit much.
