  Great location, lovely host, simple accommodation

  Liked: Great location in walking distance to the beach and the town centre. The hosts were very friendly and helpful. The property is a little dated but met our overall needs.

  Disliked: Beds were a bit hard and the furniture needs updating as it's a bit old

  True Portuguese experience, feels like you’re in your grandma’s home, the owners are kind, location is great, 3 minutes

  Disliked: It is a typical Portuguese home, aesthetically very simple, but ahead all the necessary commodities.

  Disappointed overall, the location is the highlight

  Liked: The location

  Disliked: Very outdated and smelled musky. The upstairs bathroom smelled like sewer. May be ok for one night but I wouldn’t book it for an extended stay. We had to end up getting a different hotel bc of the smell.

  Nice simple apartment near the city centre

  Liked: Very good location - walking distance from the centre - and very clean and spacious. The hosts were nice and very available. Parking near the house was easy.

  Disliked: House decor overall a little outdated. House could be a bit more comfortable.

  Superb

  Liked: Very nice and heartful hosts. Quiet and peaceful location, near river and ocean beaches. Cleaning is every 4-5 days. You should not mind that there is no air conditioner. It appeared that it's not needed, since cool breeze from the ocean and windows on both sides are doing better than AC. Sometimes, we were even using rug when there were +40C outside.

  Disliked: The furniture is mildly old-fashioned. However, it creates more authentic and home-like atmosphere than any recently refurbished hotel room.
