  5 night stay

  Liked: The appartment was prime location in the centre of Villa Real

  Disliked: The patio umbrella and clothes airer were broken, there was no oven tray, this made cooking very difficult, kitchen utensils n pots had to be prewashed as mould was growing in the pots, the kitchen looked lovely upon arrival but on closer inspection was dirty, had to buy washing up liquid to wash every thing before use, scuff marks on the walls, place could do with a fresh lick of paint, ironing board was table top, this made ironing difficult, the location is spot on but the amenities are terrible.

  Liked: Tidy and clean.

  Disliked: No Winebottle opener Please inform guests that unit is on 2nd floor with no lift - uncomfortable for older guests Also explain lights in foyer and stairs for non European guests we had to battle up the stairs in the dark and only discovered light switches for timed lights afterwards

  Central apartment in Vila Real

  Liked: The place was very clean and the kitchen was equipped with a washing machine, kettle, coffee machine and other things including a dishwasher which we didn't use. To be honest, there weren't enough dishes to make its use effective! The shower and hot water were efficient. It was fairly centrally located and entry was straightforward.

  Disliked: It lacked some kitchen essentials including a bottle opener and there was only one wine glass. Personally, I'm not keen on places where you never meet anyone and it's all done remotely; it feels rather impersonal. However, the staff did send out the entry detailsl promptly.

  Nice flat in a good location

  Liked: Location perfect to explore Vila Real, close to the bus station, supermarket and local market. Well equipped with washing machine, dishwasher and air conditioning. Nice outdoor terrace and comfy bed. Great blackout blinds for a decent sleep. Good for a few nights stay.

  Disliked: Generally well equipped, missing one or two things including a airer which would be really useful to dry clothes on the terrace. Great to have both terraces maybe add some furniture to the second one..they are a real advantage for the property. None of this would stop us coming back!
