  It is what it is, a place to spend the night if you miss your flight/ train

  Liked: At least you have a basic place to sleep if you're waiting for the train or miss the flight.

  Liked: Location is good, the reception is really helpful.

  Disliked: Like any bunk bed, lots of snoring. When I arrived the hotel was fully booked? so they drove me and other 2 people who booked to another hostel 2min aways from that one, and it’s 99% same, cameras for storage and 24/7 reception, so even though it was bad that we got moved to that hostel but at least they made sure all’s good

  Great place if you have overnight layover

  Liked: 25 min walk to airport terminal 2 Clean 24h registration deck. Great personal. There is small store nearby, that open on Sundays as well. Kitchen was open at night, so we can get cup of coffee before early departure.

  Disliked: Nothing if you realize it's hostel. People come, people leave. Cough, snore etc. Nothing to do with that.

  Terrible experience – Refused accommodation and left on the street at midnight

  Disliked: One of the worst accommodation experiences I have ever had. I strongly recommend thinking twice before booking Hostel M Torres. Upon arrival, the staff claimed that my reservation had been cancelled because I had previously requested a free cancellation. However, requesting a waiver of cancellation fees is not the same as having a confirmed cancellation. I had not confirmed that I wanted to cancel my reservation, and my booking was still showing as active and confirmed on Booking.com when I arrived. Even more surprisingly, while I was physically standing at reception discussing the situation, I suddenly received an email stating that my reservation had been cancelled because I was a "no-show." These are two completely different situations: requesting a cancellation-fee waiver and arriving late for check-in. The staff kept mixing them up, first claiming that my reservation was cancelled because of my cancellation request, and then claiming that I had not shown up at all. I repeatedly explained the difference, but they refused to acknowledge it. I was left with the strong impression that they were deliberately conflating these two separate issues to justify refusing my accommodation. Initially, the staff offered to let me check in late for an additional €18, which I was perfectly willing to pay. However, after I questioned their explanation, they suddenly changed their decision and refused to accommodate me. I was then told to leave the property and was left on the street in the middle of the night, without accommodation. As a result, I lost €300 on my original non-refundable reservation and had to spend an additional €60 arranging alternative accommodation. I found this experience extremely unprofessional, unfair and distressing. Travellers, especially those arriving late because of unexpected flight delays, should be aware of how this property handled my situation. I would never recommend this hostel based on my experience.

  Liked: M Torres was clean, neat, and welcoming. Jose was super helpful and accommodating. We also liked the location. The Barajas neighborhood has many restaurants, including those surrounding the historical square. Also, we could easily walk to/from the airport to M. Torres. There is a pedestrian walkway on the west side of the airport that leads into the Barajas neighborhood. 15-20 minute walk.
