I wouldn't bother using the Ibis Hotels Aeropuerto Madrid

Liked: This hotel is average. The rooms are very small and although it is new, it is not very interesting.

Disliked: The location is terrible, with only one restaurant within walking distance, except of the snack bar which is located in the hotel itself. The staff was confused about our reservations. Be careful when using Booking to make reservations at the Ibis. The Accor chain uses the General Aviles address for for two or three hotels, all called "Ibis Aeropuerto". I thought I had booked at the General Aviles address only to find that I had not. The address that appeared after I paid for the reservation did show the correct address but of course the reservation was nonrefundable.

Liked: Great location. Nice and affordable breakfast. They had gluten free options

Disliked: Ideally the shuttle would run more often. The times are too far apart.

Disliked: The bathroom is just odd but that isn't a big deal.

Disliked: The shuttle to the airport was not right at the hotel and there was a 10 Euro charge that was not clearly posted on the website prior to the reservation.

Disliked: The building was very acoustic. The point I could hear neighbors urinating in their restroom. We heard a neighboring room door open up and it sounded like it was our room. We heard foot steps on our floor and above us very clearly and loudly. The minimalist nature of the hotel while also being over 300 euros. And the lack of a locking door on the restroom which isn't attached with a shower and sink.
