A little gem in central Spain

Liked: We were transferred to the Retiro del Maestre and loved it! A beautiful, clean and very comfortable hotel with lots of bedroom space. Very quiet and the location was perfect. Just a short walk into the town centre. Super helpful staff.

  Disliked: Nothing to dislike.

Started bad but quickly improved as substitute hotel looked better than designated hotel

Liked: This hotel was closed for decoration and therefore diverted to Retiro de la Maestre.

Disliked: I was not contacted regarding the change of hotel.

  we plan to return

Liked: the thing is: we were changed to another hotel in the group Retiro del Maestre due to alterations in the Maestrazgo. we were looked after very well in the Retiro in a lovely room and very nice, informative Staff. The breakfast and parking made it a lovely stay.

Disliked: No coffee/ tea facilities in the room which would have made it better. The included breakfast was very good, however.
