Great hotel in a good location

Liked: We had a Deluxe room on the top floor. Clearly had recently been redone. Bed very comfortable, room beautiful and bathroom lovely. There is the Panorama Cafe next door, a garage below the hotel and loads of restaurants very close to the hotel.

Disliked: Almendralejo is the place they make cafe in this part of the world but it’s really difficult to buy. Our previous 2 visits, the reception organised a box of 6 bottles for us to buy but when we arrived, the gentleman in reception had no idea about boxes of cava and told us to talk to the staff in the Panorama Cafe. We did but it was Saturday night and the chap from the cafe didn’t start work until 11.00 on Sunday. Too late for us as we had to head to the next stop on our journey. A shame but I shall be more insistent next time!

    Convenient for a short stay

Liked: Easy to get to any location. 24 h front desk. Nice renovated bathrooms

Disliked: Air conditioning only worked as a fan, no cold air. No coffee maker or some bathroom utilities. Trash can smelt like cigarettes.

Liked: The size of the room and the bed size.

Disliked: The corridors were not air conditioned. The elevators were slow but these are minor points.

    Definitely recommend

Liked: Stayed here because our motorhome broke down. The hotel staff were extremely accommodating - even driving us to the station when no taxis were available. A nice hotel, well located (small town we’d not have visited but for the breakdown - the silver lining) and comfortable. The staff make this hotel stand out.

A very satisfactory stay and we would return to the town and hotel when in the area

Liked: A good location albeit a little difficult to find initially through a number of narrow one-way streets. However, a very warm and courteous welcome on arrival. Excellent shower. Almendralejo is an interesting town to visit with good quality shops and many cafes and restaurants.

Disliked: The beds were rather hard for our liking and the pillows very "tired".
