  Liked: Well organised hostel with a large kitchen, a terrace and 2 work quiet rooms. Bathroom was clean and the beds were comfortable

  Top tier hostel

  Liked: Easily the best hostel I’ve ever stayed in. The whole place is really clean, secure and modern. Staff are lovely. In some hostels you get a bunk and maybe a curtain but at Amistat it feels like you get your own entire little base. The pod I was in came with a safe, loads of room for my stuff, a TV(!) and a self dimming lamp. The activities they put on are great too.

  Liked: Good value for money and safe for women.

  Disliked: The bathroom was dirty and the mirror light didn't work. Both me and my friend found clumps of hair in our beds (different color, wasn't ours).

  Liked: Good vibe, very sociable nice bar and comfy beds

  Disliked: Key is in your phone so if you have no WiFi or phone dies you might not be able to get to your room

  Liked: I paid in advance for four nights at AMISTAT City Hostel Barcelona, but when I arrived, I was refused accommodation. I had already paid for my booking, and I was forced to find and pay for another hotel at my own expense. I lost the money I had paid for the original booking and had to pay twice for accommodation. This was an unacceptable experience, and I am very disappointed with both the property and the situation. I request a full refund for the four nights I paid for but was not allowed to use.
