  Comfortable Spacious Rooms

  Liked: The location is quite good, The breakfast was good, and there were many options. The rooms are comfortable and spacious by European standards.

  Disliked: During our stay there was a ton of construction on La Rambla and at the building next door. Obviously, this is not the fault of the hotel! The noise level on the plaza outside out room at the back of the hotel was quite disturbing well into the wee hours of the morning. Again, not the fault of the hotel.

  Liked: Value for money and the stuff were really nice. The shower was really clean and good

  It was a comfortable stay and is nicely located once construction is finished. There are lots of beautiful hotels in Bar

  Liked: It would and will be a great location, especially in the off season when the Rambla is not crazy crowded. It’s close to the port, right by the Gothic Quarter and an easy walk to Eixample and many of the sites and good restaurants.

  Disliked: Unfortunately the Rambla is undergoing construction until about February of 2027. The hotel is right in the middle of the construction zone making it difficult to get to and from the building with luggage. The front desk staff were not so much rude as just not present. Our “good mornings” were met with silence. Coming from Mexico, this lack of friendliness and attentiveness was rather startling. When we checked in, the man behind the desk attempted to charge us for the room that we had already paid for, telling us that our card had been used to hold the room, but no payment had been made. Fortunately, I had brought the receipts.

  Liked: Room 101-Ground floor room would not be my choice - not available on website re choosing room - as a future lone traveller Room was very clean, and the mattress and pillow were memory foam so very comfy

  Excellent location and very clean rooms!

  Liked: This is our second stay at Arc La Rambla and it was fantastic. We had a very spacious room with a generous amount of hanging and storage. The entire staff is superb, professional and kind. The housekeeper for room 401 was terrific. Our room was sparkling clean. The front desk staff, especially Sonia and the lively young woman who assisted us with shopping directions and restaurant suggestions were just wonderful. We WILL be back!

  It sucked

  Liked: Breakfast was lousy

  Disliked: We had the junior suite but had to change rooms because we couldn't get any sleep because of the construction that was going on right next door and they wouldn't give us the money back for a smaller room away from the nose.
