Excellent stay, great apartment and very helpful host
Liked: Great apartment more than suitable and comfortable for 4 people. Very clean and in a great location.
Disliked: The only slight issue was the shower head didn’t have a hook but we managed.

Liked: Our stay at Palazzo Caltagirone was one of the highlights of our trip to Sicily. From the moment we arrived, we felt genuinely welcomed and cared for. Anna is an incredible host. She didn’t just check us in—she took the time to get to know us and helped us plan our stay. Her recommendations for places to visit, restaurants, beaches, and local experiences were absolutely perfect. She was always available to answer our questions, offer advice, and make sure everything was going smoothly. The palazzo itself is charming, beautifully maintained, and in a fantastic location to explore Palermo. It was the perfect place to come back to after a day of sightseeing Thank you, Anna, for your kindness, generosity, and genuine hospitality. You made us feel like more than just guests—you made us feel at home. I couldn’t recommend Palazzo Caltagirone more highly!
Liked: It was decent. The windows are old/ deteriorating. so it was a bit concerning since I felt anyone could have snuck/ broken into the residence. Due to these windows, my family and I basically had to carry all over passports/IDs with us for security purposes.
Disliked: This property was booked March 9, 2026, since my family & I were going to Spain for a week (May 2-9) from the USA. A few days upon our arrival, host messaged me via Whatsapp, requesting I needed to pay AN ADDITIONAL balance for TOURIST fee, since Spain has increased this fee starting May 1st. I informed him it was not fair because I had booked this months/ days in advance prior to this increase in tourist fees. I completely understand if I had book this reservation the day of arrival. Til this day (6/4/26) he is still requesting additional funds. Has messaged me basically saying I need to pay or there will be consequences. I stayed in Madrid & Begur and neither of those two hosts, are requesting this fee or have been demanding, days after completion of booking.

Liked: There is no room hitter and no hot water. It’s very difficult to stay a family with children.
Incredible stay in Barcelona best location best house
Liked: It super easy to get there from the airport. The aerobús which is only 7eur leaves you at walking distance from the house. It is perfectly located. Jon is a super nice guy, he have us many tips. You could totally tell he really wanted is to have a good time and he knows his city well.
Disliked: Everything was truly perfect.
