  Beautiful hotel in a great location with friendly helpful staff and an excellent breakfast buffet. Easy to walk to and f

  Liked: Great location near attractions and eateries- comfortable beds, good showers and and excellent breakfast. Staff were generally very helpful and friendly. Would stay here again.

  Disliked: We had a small issue with our first room having a big coffee or wine stain on the floor which the housekeeper tried to dismiss telling us it was just a natural stone pattern but the reception staff sorted it out and we were very pleased with our replacement room. Otherwise everything was excellent and we enjoyed our stay.

  Superb experience at Gran Hotel Barcino. Superb

  Liked: Everything about this hotel was excellent — staff, service, comfort, location, breakfast, value. Fascinating location on top of newly excavated Roman ruins; would stay here again and recommend to friends.
