  Liked: The location was perfect was close to most of the places we wanted to go to. the staff was so friendly when we checked in a lovely lady I think her name was Sofia I feel so bad if I get it wrong because she was so helpful.

  NOT EVEN WORTH STAYING FOR FREE!

  Liked: Absolutely nothing. There was not a single positive aspect of my stay that I could honestly mention. This was one of the worst hotel experiences I have ever had.

  Disliked: Absolutely everything. I am genuinely shocked that this hotel is advertised as a 4-star property. Based on my experience, it does not even meet the most basic standards of cleanliness, hygiene or maintenance. The bathroom door was rotten, its hinges were heavily rusted, and even the shower had visible rust. The condition of the bathroom was completely unacceptable. Even more unbelievable was the location of the sink. There was NO sink inside the bathroom! Instead, it was installed in the bedroom, right next to the bed. This means that after using the toilet, you have to open the bathroom door with unwashed hands, walk through the bedroom and wash your hands next to where you sleep. How can this possibly be considered acceptable hygiene in a supposedly 4-star hotel? To make matters worse, there was an extremely strong, unpleasant, musty smell throughout the hotel. The smell was so overwhelming that it made the entire experience even more unpleasant. Everything I experienced suggested a serious lack of maintenance and attention to basic hygiene. I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THIS HOTEL TO ANYONE, EVEN IF THE STAY WERE COMPLETELY FREE. I strongly advise anyone considering booking this hotel to think twice. The reality I experienced was nothing like what I would expect from a 4-star establishment. This was an absolutely unacceptable experience and a complete disappointment.

  Hotel is in a good area but it need a serious refurbishment in the room areas. The rooms are also already heavily used

  Liked: Good decoration but needs a good refurbished part in the room areas.

  Disliked: The room hall ways are in very bad condition. The hotel needs a facelift. Also the day I checked out I was woken up by an intense sewage smell that I had to have a quick shower and leave the room because it was unbearable.

Good to know

Children under 12 years old are NOT allowed to enter to the Spa. Please note that it is required to make reservation to access to the Spa. Hotel Grums Barcelona's restaurant serves breakfast every morning from 07:00 to 10:30h and can also be enjoyed on the patio. Dinner is served daily from 18:30 to 22:30h. Our Grums Restaurant offers Mediterranean cuisine, and there is also a bar, lounge and patio terrace where drinks are served. Room service is available for a surcharge of EUR 3. Private parking is available exclusively for our guests for a surcharge of 30€. At check-in, guests must show a valid ID and a credit card as a guarantee to cover possible extra expenses. Special conditions and extra charges can be apply to group reservations of more than 5 rooms.Guests are required to show a photo ID and credit card upon check-in. Please note that all Special Requests are subject to availability and additional charges may apply.
