Exceptional
A very rewarding stay in Barcelona based on a wonderful hotel
Liked: The hotel is very attractive and has great staff, who were very helpful in getting us settled and managing our requests. The location is excellent -- walking distance to many attractions and with easy access to public transportation. The room worked well for us in terms of facilities and size.

Repeat Bookers - Great Location
Liked: Initially there was an issue with our room, on the 1st floor - We went to reception and they moved us to the 5th floor - Also assisted with moving the luggage
Disliked: Poor 1st floor room Expensive
Liked: The location was ideal for access to the Gothic quarter, with lots of shopping and restaurants close by.
Disliked: The lighting and temperature scheme in the room was very hard to figure out. The air temperature was hard to regulate and went from freezing to overly warm overnight. It was not user friendly at all. The lighting was also odd, in that some parts of the room could only be lit from a master switch. Even after 3 days there, we still could not understand the switch configuration.
Would go back in different room based on location
Liked: Location was great, appearance on arrival, lovely foyer, bar staff great, reception helpful. Rooftop nice although not open due to weather. Clean. Great coffee in room. Shower was really good and temperature hot.
Disliked: No real atmosphere, room make up not until 2pm each day. Room too small probably smallest in hotel (room 408) picture shows room right beside the elevator, atrium view so could not tell what weather was before leaving. Decor in room had water damage and was tired despite advertising recent refurbishment. We paid a lot for the room which was disappointing.
