  A gem of a place at a reasonable price with handy access to Camp Nou Stadium

  Liked: Hostal BESTPRICE Barcelona Stadium's unique selling feature is its proximity, for a reasonable price, to Barcelona FC's Camp Nou Stadium & Museum, which didn't disappoint. (Could you find a place any closer?) We were thrilled we (with a 13yr old in tow) managed to secure a booking in what we discovered was a professionally well run, very safe, very clean, warm and comfortable establishment, on a quiet side street, a 6mn walk from Collblanc Metro stop, on the blue Line 5. Everything was within walking distance: a small grocery store, Carrefour Express, a few small eateries, cafés, bistros, a small children's play park and Camp Nou Stadium, a stone's throw from there. The famous Basilica of the Sagrada Familia was 8 stops (15-20mn) away on the same metro line. We felt blessed. Unlike a hostel, we had a 3-bed room to ourselves, which was lockable from the inside, had a sink, a smart TV, AirCon, a clean hand and bath towel and a bottle of water for each guest, bedside tables, shelving and plenty of lighting and free WiFi. We felt safe outside and inside the establishment. You had to buzz in to reception to access the premises from the street. You were given a plain white plastic key card to access the building as well as your room, with no hotel or room details on it. There were cameras at various points throughout the corridors. The welcome when we arrived at reception was genuine and warm. We were made to feel that our comfort was their priority. We all slept well. We had a very early morning flight and discovered that transport services - taxi and metro - didn't start until 5am. As the Uber App on my phone wasn't working, our industrious receptionist kindly booked us a taxi ahead of time as reception closes at 1am, for a 20-25mn journey to the airport, at 3:30am. We really couldn't complain and would highly recommend the place!

  Disliked: Although the wash/toilet/bathroom facilities were shared with other guests, there was a choice of 5 rooms on our floor, which were available to guests, so you weren't left standing, bursting to go to the toilet with nowhere else to go. They were well maintained; they were always fresh and clean, whenever we needed to use them. Again, no complaints. All the aforementioned positives at a very reasonable price outweigh the one issue of shared washrooms. "Cosy and worth its price", according to our 13yr old; -

  Good locatiob if you are a football fan you can easily go to see the stadium

  Liked: The room was clean and nice. I liked that it had multiple bathrooms, and they were all very clean. The room itself was good and comfortable. The only thing is that we came around 5-10 minutes late for check-out because of a traffic jam and the keys were out of work already, so it took us to knock a lot to get in.

  Great hostel with private rooms and clean shared bathroom and kitchen. Loved it for this price!

  Liked: Location is great, 5 minutes walk from subway station, quite part of town. Stuff is great, friendly, host explained everything clear in English, also they allow to leave luggage after check-out (or before check-in), so you can actually go explore the city if you have extra-time to your flight). Bathroom is shared, but they have 5 bathrooms, and I was always able to find one available at all times, and they all are very clear, it's visible how much cleaning is happening, no issues with bathroom at all! They have small shared kitchen with cattle, microwave, fridge (but host warned us that nobody guards your food, and other guest may potentially take it, but it never happened during our stay), it's great to drink tea/coffee and heat up leftovers or something from supermarket, we enjoyed it. Room is small (as expected), but beds are fine, there is built-in wardrobe, and small sink.

  Disliked: The only downside: our window faced inner yard, and it gave little to no light in the room. However, we were out in the city for most of the day, so it didn't bother us that much.

  Great Central Choice

  Liked: Comfortable bed, convenient location, and clean bathrooms! REALLY appreciate the friendly late check in guy. We hit a travel hiccup and he reassured us our room would be ready and waiting when we got there. My husband also appreciated the coffee station 😂. Close to the Metro and little market right around the corner.

  Disliked: The neighborhood felt a little sketchy when we first walked up but we came and went over several days with no problems whatsoever. The street has a funky sewer smell that is unfortunately prevalent in different areas around Barcelona but it does *NOT* enter the facility. Everything smelled fresh inside!
