Disliked: No chairs out on all balcony
No emergency exit
Liked: Location sensational for exploring Barcelona. New bathroom, beds ok
Disliked: The fire stairs were closed off, so zero ways except an elevator to escape in case of fire! Not sure if it was some simple paint work and the exit door would still open but sign was just that it was closed. Rather outrageous thinking this is OK. I asked about the emergency exit and was told there were external stairs but they only went from level 4 to 3, Also some mould odour in the room penalty from the new bathroom which is a bit sad.
Good value for money, particularly for short stays
Liked: Excellent location, right in the heart of the Gothic Quarter. Complimentary early check-in. Clean and well-maintained room. Wi-Fi access.
Disliked: The rooms offer virtually no sound insulation, making it possible to hear neighbouring guests talking and other private noises throughout the night. Furthermore, the sound of the toilet flushing in the room above is extremely loud and seems as though the water is being discharged directly overhead.
Liked: Location staff were excellent
Disliked: Room was a little small but clean and adequate for our one night
Liked: Sleep sound, bed was comfortable, clean, water pressure good, cleaning every day, air-conditioning, location perfect!
Disliked: No window- room had no natural light and felt like a cell- a little scary in case of fire, no hooks in the bathroom, bed lining worn out with little spots, weird-worn out blanket, no kettle or coffee filter, no bed lamp, no fridge, no hairdryer.
Liked: Location. And people at reception.
Disliked: Too loud.
