Exceptional
Great location and perfect place to stay on our first trip to Barcelona
Liked: Great location in the city. Quiet at night for being in a busy area. We loved the design of the hotel and the spaces.
Disliked: I can't think of anything.
Love the location!
Liked: Superb location! Close to subways and bus stops so it is really easy to get around the city. Just round the corner are all the major shopping areas. Extremely convenient. There is a lounge area/library that is pretty cool and provides simple tea refreshments.
Disliked: I asked for a courtyard facing room coz reviews said those facing the street are noisy. Note that the windows simply looks into a well of windows (of other rooms) so there's really no "courtyard" view. My room door shakes every time other neighboring guests close their room doors. So forget about sleeping in. Haha. It is pricey but most hotels in BCN are.
I’ll choose somewhere else next time
Liked: It was clean. The bedding was good.
Disliked: Our room smelled of sewage. They kept giving us an explanation: it’s an old building…. Finally we asked to be moved and we got a smaller room. The amenities were minimal. I left a bag there and the hotel made no effort to contact me. We were in town for a while on our check-out date and could have gone back. We realized it too late.
Liked: The location, cleanliness and architecture style of this hotel is wonderful!
Disliked: Wish the staff offer me some travel tips of the area.
